LIWAS is ready to take off

The LIWAS system was invented by Jack Fridthjof. Together with the inventor a project group of researchers, R&D engineers and business people have now put the final touches to the committed development activities they have been engaged in for several years. The communications system providing the connection between cars and between cars and central servers has been tested nd is also ready to be put into production.

LIWAS has greatly benefited from a unique collaborative effort involving an innovative environment and researchers from the University of Aarhus, ISIS Katrinebjerg and the Alexandra Institute as well as private sector R&D people and the company itself.

To develop the LIWAS system has taken a budget of DKK8.5m (approx. EUR 1.15m) and the committed efforts of seven staff members for slightly more than two years. As envisaged, the development work was completed within the frames of the budget.

The company has applied for a patent of the LIWAS system, which has been tested in a laboratory setting and on the roads with highly satisfactory outcomes.

The LIWAS sensor and the communications system are ready.
